Google Translate will soon introduce a feature called “Transcribe Mode”, which will basically write voice commands. The feature will be added to the Google Translate app for Android. There was no mention however if the new feature will similarly be introduced on iOS.
The Transcribe Mode will be released to the Google Translate app in the second quarter of 2020. It is built to translate long speeches as well as being able to review the sentences to correct the choice of words and add punctuations.
Currently, the feature is being tested in French, German, and Spanish. More languages will be added before Google finally rolls it out on a stable version of the Google Translate app.
So far, Google hasn’t given a specific date for the rollout but April is a sure bet.
