Google has impressed many with its pixel range of phones over the years. This year, the tech giants have introduced to the world their latest Pixel, the Google Pixel 3.

Design and display
With Google’s latest crop of Pixel devices, the company has made some key changes in the design department. The biggest change by far is that of the new glass back on the device which has a matte coating on the bottom portion. The entire back is made of soft-touch glass using Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It’s the same strengthened glass that protecting the front screen, and it’s all sandwiching an aluminum frame with that has a hybrid coating – that’s the only bit of metal you’ll find on the outside.

The whole device measures 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9mm and weighs 148g and comes with the 18:9 ratio which give it less bezels.
The Google Pixel 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and 4GB of RAM. With other devices basting of a 6GB RAM and Apple coming up with the A12 chipset, this device may not be the best as far as speed is concerned. That notwithstanding, Google owning the hardware and software should prove beneficial for smooth performance.
The Pixel Visual Core is a separate, dedicated chip that helps give the camera that wow factor. Combined with the 12.2MP camera, we’ll see machine-learning features that pick the best photo to avoid blurriness and closed eyes called Top Shot.
When it comes to selfie photos, there are two 8MP cameras that provide a normal 75 degree field of view or a 97 degree field of view. The apertures do differ here: f/2.2 for the wide-angle lens and f/1.8 for the normal selfie lens.
With the device’s 2,915mAh battery which is slightly smaller than other flagships, you can still get an all-day usage with a single charge and normal usage. Aside that, you will certainly benefit from fast 18W and new wireless charging.
