Golden Hour eSports tournament: Preview of Match Week 2 fixtures

Golden Hour Match Week two

Wonderkid impressively came top of the table after Match Week one, but will he be able to retain his position or will he be displaced? Will Messi, Aspect and Sulley bounce back from their defeats in Match Week one? We assess the possibilities going into Match Week two of the Golden Hour eSports tournament.

Week 2

The fixtures of Match Week 2 of the Golden Hour eSports tournament takes place on 22nd June 2019 with Messi and Sulley set to battle it out in the first game. The second game of Match Week 2 will be between Aspect and Wonderkid, while Kiki and Starson will face off in the final game of Match week 2 of the Golden Hour eSports tournament.

Messi vs Kiki

This game is, probably, the biggest game of Match Week 2 with both Messi and Kiki looking to redeem themselves after their loss in the first week.  Messi suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of table topper, Wonderkid, while Aspect also lost by a lone goal to Kiki.

A win could push either of them out of the bottom half of the table, provided the other games end in a draw or two of the players in the top half of the table lose their matches. A loss, on the other hand, could further deteriorate their chances of winning the maiden edition of the competition.

Aspect vs Wonderkid

Golden Hour Match Week two

The encounter between Aspect and Wonderkid promises to be an interesting one as well. Aspect could have the chance to redeem himself after Match Week 1 and could also ruin Wonderkid’s chances of maintaining and, possibly, extending his lead at the top of the table.

Wonderkid will also be eager to extend his lead before Kiki and Starson face off in the last game of the week.

Kiki vs Starson

Golden Hour Match Week two

After winning their first games, Kiki and Starson will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the tournament with another win. A win for any of them would see them climb to the top of the table and heat up the title race.

A loss for any of them could also relegate them below the top three spots, if either Messi, Sulley or Aspect win their games.

The race for the top spot

A loss for Wonderkid and a draw in the final game of Match Week 2 could see him drop to third position while a loss for him and a win in the final game could see him drop to second place, if either Aspect, Messi or Kiki do not win by a two goal margin.

A win for Wonderkid could help him maintain his place at the top, provided either Kiki or Starson are unable to gain a superior goal difference at the end of the week .
