Another transport service is entering the Ghanaian market. This new company, GIG Mobility (GIGM), is a technologically powered transport company and is ready to join the country’s intercity transportation sector.
GIG Mobility is going to open its main terminals in Accra and Kumasi. Vuakpor Muoghereh is the Chief Operating Officer of GIG Mobility. She said this expansion move by the company falls in line with the company’s plans to provide great customer experience for people in Africa.
She said: “With over 20 years in service to travellers, we have consistently reinvented the wheel by focusing on exceptional customer experience, leveraging technology to build innovative solutions”
“From our professional captains (drivers) we have carefully screened and gone through continuous professional development, to our fleet, which is by all standards the best in the industry and then to our safety procedures which are meticulously followed through.”
GIG Mobility will be introducing its mobile app, which is for ticket booking, vehicle hire, and pick-ups. Muoghereh said the company’s ways of transporting commuters is “a more convenient way to travel as opposed to the conventional wait and fill model for interstate travel.”
