Fameko, translates from the Akan language as “take me away”. However, Fameko launched this special offers for both its drivers and their riders.

Looks like Fameko is really coming with fully power-packed service. Aside the Fameko Luxury service, it also has a driver recruitment service. CEO Agyapong says with their driver recruitment service, companies can recruit drivers upon request.
“If you are an individual and you need our services, we can give you competent drivers,” he affirmed.
Agyapong hyped Fameko, saying it is the only ride-sharing service that gives drivers accommodating charges in terms of rates. He also bragged that Fameko is designed to give protection to the drivers.
“Drivers are assured of competitive fares where customers pay by cash or mobile money.”
In addition to the above services, Fameko has insurance and vehicle tracking packages for drivers and vehicle owners who sign up.
On customer security, he highlighted Fameko’s system monitors the movement of drivers. The system, therefore, allows the company to know the drivers’ whereabouts and what is happening to them.
“We are able to track their identity if anybody cause harm to the driver or there is a theft on any issue, we can be able to track and know where the person is.”
Again, Fameko offers drivers prepaid services. This will allow drivers to load their Fameko Taxi Wallet to prevent issues of drivers owing the company.
Participants at the launch expressed their excitement because the Ghanaian company seems to be a listening outfit.
To them, Fameko has proven to listen to the concerns of drivers. They’re as well expecting Fameko to give competition to the other services.
The Fameko Taxi app is currently available for Android users.
