As earlier mentioned, you can choose to create an account before making your complaints. This synchronises and secures your submitted complaints to your account. Alternatively, you can remain anonymous, thus just making your complaints without keeping track of it in any account.
Making a Report
After signing in, or opting for the anonymous reporting option, the next thing is to choose the kind of complaint you wish to make.
The app categorises the complaints into two, one of which is institutional complaints. This allows you to report corruption cases in certain specified institutions. These institutions include the Judicial Service of Ghana, Registrar General Department, Customs Division of the GRA, Passport office, License Office, among other related institutions.
General Corruption Complaint
This option allows you to register complaints regarding any non-institutionalised mode of corruption. Thus, you can report any act of corruption you may come across daily.
To make your complaint, you may provide among other details available to you; any contact numbers, a vivid description of the corruption incident, details available (data, location, time, etc.) and an image of your evidence, if any.
ALAC Call button
Aside from choosing from the above-stated kind of written complaints, there is an additional button to call the toll-free line to ALAC. Therefore, if you prefer to make a verbal complaint, you can conveniently do so with this button.
Finally, Eye on Corruption provides you with the very latest news in Ghana, regarding acts of corruption as well as updates regarding it.
