The Golden Hour eSports tournament kicks off today at precisely 3 pm at the studios of Kwese TV with 6 top FIFA eSports players in Ghana looking to be crowned champion of the maiden edition.
The 2019 edition of the tournament is being powered by Giiks Game City (GGC). Participants of this year’s edition have qualified as a result of their impressive performances in the World Cup series, Tertiary eSports Series and the Champions League competitions previously organized by GGC.
Wonderkhid, Aspect, Kiki, Messi, Habib Sulley, and Saint Starson will go head-to-head with each other between 15th June 2019 and 13th July 2019.
In anticipation of the maiden edition of the Golden Hour eSports tournament, we take a look at the fixtures for the competition.
Fixtures for Golden Hour eSports tournament
Week 1
The first week of the tournament takes place on 15th June 2019. At precisely 3:00 pm, Aspect will face off with Kiki in what will be the opening fixture of the Golden Hour eSports tournament. Sulley will then come face to face with Starson before Wonderkid and Messi battle it out in the final game of match week 1.
Week 2
The fixtures of match week 2 of the Golden Hour eSports tournament will take place on 22nd June 2019 with Messi and Sulley set to battle it out in the first match. The second game of week two will see Aspect locking horns with Wonderkhid while Kiki and Starson will face off in the final game of Match week 2.
Week 3
Match week three will take place on 29th June 2019. Sulley will go head to head with Aspect in the first match before Messi plays host to Starson in a highly anticipated match. Kiki will then face off with Wonderkid in the final game of match week 3.
Week 4
The fourth week of the Golden Hour eSports tournament will take place on 6th July 2019. Messi will face off with Aspect in the first match before Starson plays host to Wonderkid. The final game in match week four of the tournament will be between Sulley and Kiki.
Week 5
The first game of the final week of the competition will be played between Aspect and Starson. The second match will be between Messi and Kiki before Wonderkid and Sulley face off in the final game of match week five and the Golden Hour eSports tournament.
