Your iPhone’s IP address is important for a lot of things. The IP address can be used to adjust the bandwidth settings on a router or to transfer files straight to your device. This is why phone owners are always told to guard it jealously. See how you can find yours.
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Locate “Wi-Fi” and click it.
- Locate the connected Wi-Fi network, and click on the blue “i” icon close to your network’s name.
- You will now have access to a page that will show information about your device. The “IPV4 ADDRESS” section is the IP Address, and the number you will see in the box is your iPhone’s IP address. It should look like this “10.0.2.25.”
