Amid the coronavirus lockdown, several artistes have had to cancel or postpone their shows to avoid being the reason for the spread of the virus, however, fortunately for these singers, there is a new way to make decent cash during the COVID-19 outbreak and it is all thanks to Mark Zuckerberg and his team.
According to GuardianNG, Facebook recently revealed that it is set to add an option that will allow creators to charge viewers to watch live streams on the platform. The social media site had this to say via its Newsroom, “To support creators and small businesses, we plan to add the ability for Pages to charge for access to events with Live videos on Facebook – anything from online performances to classes to professional conference.”

With the new feature, musicians can stage virtual concerts and earn from ticket sales, but no announcement has been made thus far on the precise date when this will be possible. Also, no news on the cut Facebook will get as soon as the feature is launched.
