Dr. Bernard Otabil is a lecturer, financial author, columnist, investment banker, businessman and a chartered accountant. Currently, he is the Chief Executive of Ghana News Agency. He is also the founding Dean of Sam Jonah School of Business, a former Acting President of African University College of Communications, former Managing Director of Esoko Ghana and the launch editor of Graphic Business newspaper, all in Ghana.In Europe, Dr Otabil worked for some of the world’s leading investment banks, including HSBC, CIBC World Markets, FMN Africa and Infobank Investment and Research Limited.
He writes a regular column in the Mirror newspaper, Money Matters. He has written more than 700 articles and his work has often been reproduced by leading publishing companies, including McGraw Hill.
His most recent book, Dealing with the Little Leaks that keep you Poor, has won rave reviews. Dr Otabil’s research interests include Creativity and Innovation, Entrepreneurship, ICT and Finance.
