eSports friendly match: Ghana to play Jamaica in an international friendly

Ghana plays Jamaica in esports

Ghana will on Sunday, February 17, 2019, play Jamaica in an international esports friendly match as part of promoting the esports industry in Ghana. Frank Adotey Kpapko with Alternate ID Wondhakid will face off with his Jamaican counterpart Orville Shannon with Alternate ID Killdem at precisely 7 pm.

The friendly match is being organised by the Ghana esports association in collaboration with the Africa eSports Championship and the World Esports Consortium (WESCO) with FIFA 19 game being the basis of the competition. The match will be streamed live on the Facebook page of esportsGH.

For Ghana, this international friendly match presents a perfect opportunity to build an image in the in the country in terms of esports: an area which has been given less attention in the country. The match again serves as a preparatory match for the upcoming Africa esports championship.
