This year’s edition of the Design Thinking Ghana Conference (DTGC) comes off on Friday, June 22nd to Saturday, June 23rd and will be held at the CEIBS Academic Center in East Legon, Accra.
The event, which is Africa’s premier conference for the subject, has a goal of bringing attention to the practice as a strategic tool for problem solving and the innovation process, and also, point the audience to ways in which they can be more successful if they apply the insights and knowledge from the conference; by providing a platform for presentations on the proper and effective application of this methodology in industry.
The inaugural edition, held last year, had over 150 participants and this year’s event which promises to be much more informative and exciting will be held under the theme “Doing Design Thinking”; featuring a Design Thinking Week culminating in a two-day conference packed with exciting and educational activities.
Conference keynotes will be delivered by Dr Rael Futerman, Program Manager at the HPI d-school at the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa, and Arne van Oosteron, Founder and Senior Partner of the Design Thinking Academy.
