Statistics show that Ghana has about 60,000 growing churches nationwide, this should not be surprising as Ghana is a Christian nation. The need for managing the people and resources of these human institutions is paramount. Four Christian programmers who are part of the MEST Class of 2015: their passion to see the church thrive in this century has come up with a web application called Asoriba to help manage the growing needs of the church today.
Asoriba is a web application for seamless church administration. Web application for administrators: captures detailed church member information, leader and church operations. This allows effective engagement with the congregation and administration. Church members can receive devotionals, sermons, event notices and other relevant information through the Asoriba app. They can also send prayer requests to their pastor at anytime. The communication is seamless. Asoriba makes it simple for church members to send tithes, offerings and pledges to the church at their own convenience, anytime, from anywhere. The church can easily send out nice reminders about promised contributions.
Asoriba‘s vision is to ultimately win more souls by using technology as a tool. They empower the church with technological tools to effectively engage with their congregation, increase member size and seamlessly manage the church.
