Yesterday, Infinity Ward revealed numerous details of Call of Duty’s much anticipated second season of Modern Warfare. The information brought fans assurance of the content that will be released on day one of Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2, and players can now access the content, as the new update is live now.
The new update features a number of new maps, modes and new weapons. Rust, a map originally presented in the 2009 Call for Duty Modern Warfare 2, was included in Cod Modern Warfare as a multiplayer map and a Gunfight map.
Also, the new season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 , revealed the addition of a new map named Atlas Superstore and Zhokov Boneyard. Khandor Hideout and Bazaar, will be released later in the season. Fans can also expect Gunfight Tournament, Demolition, and more to be added over the course of this second season, though Infinity Ward has not yet released exact dates for the arrivals of these additional modes.
The update includes Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s battle pass, and players can now begin unlocking items that have been found across its many tiers. As with the previous Battle Pass of the series, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 battle pass provides two options, one free and another to be paid, and players on both sides can expect new weapons, COD points and much more.
Additionally, those who have bought the Call of duty Season 2 battle pass will automatically unlock Simon “Ghost” Riley, a fan-favourite character who appeared in Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
