Ride-hailing service in Ghana, Bolt (formerly Taxify) has gotten a new country manager. Nonso Onwuzulike, from Nigeria, is going to be the service’s new head in Ghana.

The new boss has held different positions in the company over the last 3 years. The most recent ones include being the Operations Manager for Bolt Nigeria, and City Manager for Accra.

Since he headed the ride-hailing service in Accra, he has helped the company expand to 3 more cities in Ghana: Kumasi, Takoradi, and more recently, Cape Coast. Also, he saw the growth of the Bolt team from 5 to 18 people.

Appreciating his new appointment, Onwuzulike said, “I am honoured to have earned the opportunity to lead the team of amazing, hardworking and motivated Ghanaians towards building the best way to move in Ghana.

I am excited about Bolt’s future in Ghana and can’t wait to introduce our amazing products and expand to many more markets to facilitate making urban transportation more convenient and affordable for more people in Ghana,” he added.
