Apple Inc has told the Trump government to waive tariffs on Chinese-made Apple Watches, iPhone components, and other consumer products, as per a report from company filings with the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office.

Just recently, Apple pursued tariff exclusions from eleven products like HomePod speakers, iMac computers, AirPods e.t.c. The public has until the 14th of November for the submission of comments on the requests.

Apple simply said to the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office that the devices were consumer electronics and not really vital or related to ‘Made in China 2025’ or other Chinese industrial programs.

Do you think President Trump will agree to this demand?
