AirtelTigo has revealed its intentions to employ more vendors for their new project.
Addressing Journalists at a press conference, CEO of AirtelTigo, Roshi Motman indicated that, customers of Airtel Money and Tigo Cash should be aware of an integration which is said to happen by the end of April 2018, this integration of Airtel Money and Tigo Cash is also said to enable the two mobile money units to operate on a single platform for better mobile money transaction service.
This initiative will make them the second biggest mobile money operator in Ghana hence the need for more employees and vendors.

Edmund Barwah, The Director of the Airtel Money initiative assured customers of a more efficient, secure and better service with AirtelTigo Money. He also addressed the need for more vendors and agents across the country.
“The integration and the merger also present to us an opportunity of an expanded agent base; today, one of the key transactions within mobile money is the cash in cash out, we are expanding the ecosystem which means that we will be readily available everywhere”.
“Currently we have about thirty thousand vendors and we are looking to double that figure to 60 thousand within the next few months”.
Airtel Tigo registered mobile money customers is currently at 6 million with a value transaction count at 4.5 million per month.
