Tuesday, October 1, 2019, was a good day for Infinix Mobility Ghana as the company recorded an unbelievable 6000 pieces of the Infinix Hot 8 sold.

This comes after a mega launch concert with Shatta Wale to unveil the Infinix Hot 8 in Ghana.

Could this be an effect of Shatta Wale’s affiliation to the Infinix brand? Did Infinix make a good deal by signing Shatta Wale as the Brand Ambassador to help create the buzz for the new device – Hot 8? The numbers are talking. Big shoutouts to Miss Pamela Owiredu, Digital Marketing Manager/PR of Infinix Ghana, for making this happen. And to the entire infinix Ghana team, I say “Well Done.” The launch event was brilliant!

According to major retailers in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, they are currently facing shortages of both the Hot 8 and the Hot 8 lite.

The 4G variant of the Hot 8 retails at GHS 569 while the 3G enabled Hot 8 Lite goes for GHS 499.

Fans on the Infinix Ghana facebook and twitter pages have even offered to pay more to get the device, according to the manufacturers.

Retailers have also had lots of customers walk in asking for the Hot 8 and looking to pay more.

According to an Infinix Ghana spokesperson, Infinix is committed to keeping the price low and new stock of the Hot 8 will be available on Monday and Infinix lovers can get their hands on it.
