Now usually when someone is depressed, it affects the way they eat. Someone might overeat because they are sad, and another might not eat at all because they are sad. None of these is healthy for you.
So when you are depressed, try as much as possible to eat right and stay hydrated for your wellbeing.

2. Be active

As I stated earlier, a depressed person wants to be left alone and not do anything at all. But just staying in bed all day is not going to make you feel better. Instead, get up and be active. Try exercising, jogging or simply just going out for a walk. You can even try roller skates or bauer inline skates. Have you seen anyone on roller skates in a bad mood? Yeah, skating has a way of lighting up your mood and making you feel good.

3.Tidy up your living spaces

The physical appearance of your environment can have a massive impact on the way you feel. So try tidying up your environment. Lay your bed, do the dishes, fold your clothes. When you do all these and you see everything looks good around you, you will start feeling good too.

4. Practise a good bedtime routine

Get into a regular sleep cycle. Go to bed at the right time so you can wake up at the right time with more energy. This helps you to focus on your daily activities. Prepare your bedroom for sleep. Don’t keep anything in your bedroom that might affect your sleep. This includes electronics and bright lights.

5. Get help
