American Corners Ghana is set up by the Public Affairs to the U.S Embassy in Accra and any host institution. This institution seeks to provide the general public with relevant and reliable information about the U.S

It behaves like a public library reference service and one may find information about colleges and universities in America. It has multimedia and books collections which are accessible to the general public.

The book collections include reference titles, works of fiction, business and government publications.

Anyone who seeks to find out information about U.S would be given supervised internet access to audio and video products and access to 30 databases provided by the e-library of USA.

It serves as a reading or meeting rooms for people to host program events and activities. Some activities like, workshops, films, meetings and exhibits.

Working Hours

The IRC is open to the public Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. and Friday 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon except on U.S and Ghanaian holidays.

Legon Center for International Affairs morning session is from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon sessions from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
