Facebook is reportedly set to test”Mid-Roll” Video Ads. With this, ads are played after the video has started.
The ads would probably first appear in Facebook videos by professional publishers, said one analyst.
The move is aimed to help media companies and the social network generate revenue from their growing video audiences, according to people familiar with the matter. Publishers would receive 55% of revenue from mid-roll ad sales, according to tech site Recode.
Facebook has not spoken on the issue yet. But JBklutse.com will follow the story to keep you updated.
